  Law. Justice. Citizenship.Responsibility

Classroom Law Project (CLP), located in Portland, Oregon, is a nonprofit organization of educators,
lawyers, and civic leaders. Our organization helps students at all grade levels learn to be informed and active citizens who can foster, sustain, and preserve a free democratic society.

As Thomas Jefferson recognized the need for an enlightened citizenry to preserve a democracy, CLP seeks to provide opportunities for students to practice skills necessary to participate as informed and active citizens.
