Watch Oregon’s top two teams battle out this year’s case: State v. Lane – a criminal case where the defendant, a rap artist, is charged with inciting a riot and arson. Hot stuff!
CIVITAS is part of a rewarding on-going international civic education exchange program co-sponsored by the Center for Civic Education. CLP has a current partnership with Croatia and Brazil.
CLP helps to foster democracy education by training teachers to use the Project Citizen and mock trial curriculum in their schools. It is immensely gratifying to see the hunger for the tools and skills of democracy in these nations.
