The Rule of Law: Empowering Youth, Assuring Democracy
Thursday, May 1, 2008, 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
28th Annual Law Day Conference for High-School Students

Portland State University
Smith Memorial Center
1825 SW. Broadway, Portland

An exploration of the Justice System featuring 18 dynamic workshops for high-school students.

Since 1981, more than 15,000 Oregon and SW Washington high-school students have attended the Law Day Conference.

At the end of Law Day, students:

  • will be more informed citizens,
  • will know more about where to go for help, and, we hope,
  • will have developed new interest in the legal process and what it can mean.
